Expressionismus & Expressionism

Expressionismus & Expressionismi At the Art Gallery of Paris has opened an exhibition on German Expressionism "Expressionismus & Expressionism. Der Blaue Reiter vs Brücke "Berlin - Munich 1905-1920 (October 13, 2011 to March 11, 2012).

Andrei Nakov is part of the scientific committee of the exhibition was responsible for the selection of works by Kandinsky, Larionov and Goncharova.

In the catalog of the exhibition is his study of "Prime abstract painting by Kandinsky" (circle with Table 1911) and a note on the "Table 209" (pages 44 to 63).

Entitled "Table with circle", the first abstract painting by Kandinsky included in the exhibition as well as the "Improvisation 34" (another important work of 1913), table, as we learned of the text, is closely related to this "first abstract painting" of 1911.

"Malewicz Without Borders" (КАЗИМИР МАЛЕВИЧ: БЕЗ ГРАНИЦ)

Affiche du symposium de Belgrade From 1 to 5 December 2010, the Philological Faculty of the University of Belgrade (Serbia) organized under the direction of Kornélia ICIN an international conference.

Entitled "Malewicz Without Borders" (КАЗИМИР МАЛЕВИЧ: БЕЗ ГРАНИЦ), the conference was devoted to the philosophical and actual language of the creator of Suprematism. The conference was held because of the Serbian language publication of the writings of the artist. This large volume entitled "Бог није збачен" (God is not stripped) was conducted under the leadership of Slobodan Mijuskovic, art critic and Slavist Serbian study for many years the work of Malewicz and has already published many texts on the subject. We should welcome this first translation from Russian of all texts published by the artist in a single volume.

The presentation of this publication was held on December 3.

Black and White: a Suprematist Composition by Kazimir Malevich of 1915

The acquisition by the Moderna Museet in Stockholm of a large painting of supremacist Malewicz of 1915 led to the writing of a monograph on this single work. Entitled Black and White: a Suprematist Composition by Kazimir Malevich of 1915, the book edited by Andrei Nakov Moderna Museet in Stockholm has been published by Steidl, Göttingen, in two separate editions, Swedish and English.
